Holy Fire Versus Unholy Dressing

THE HOLY FIRE VERSUS UNHOLY DRESSING   -

"Can a man take FIRE in his bosom, and his CLOTHES not be BURNED" (Proverbs 6:27, Emphasis mine)

Once I was sharing this scripture with a lady, explaining that the reason many Christians dress indecently and copy the wreckless dressing of the world is because the fire of God in their lives is not genuine...it's either fake fire, polluted fire, strange fire, or worldly fire.

Because, it is not possible to be a fire-man or fire-woman, burning with holy fire, and then wear unholy clothes...mini skirts, sagged trousers, so-called exposing and explosive clothes. Fire that has the capacity to burn inside a man's bone, will burn his clothes. 

The reason you see believers who cannot wear horrible and seductive clothes is because there is genuine fire burning in their lives, and a man cannot carry fire and his clothes will not burn. God's holy fire burn unholy clothes, and accepts holy clothes. The fire choses the kinds of clothes His children wear. This was why Aaron and co couldn't have worn any how clothes. If they did, God's fire will consume them. "For our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29).

When you see God's female children pack aside and stop using made-in-hell goods and dressings, don't think they are mad; they are not. It is the genuine fire in their lives that have burnt evil dressings. They are true representatives of God; "Who makes His ministers a flaming fire" (Psalm 104:4b). It is this fire that burns in their lives that also burns their ungodly clothes which they discard no matter the cost. Sometimes ago, one of their (bank) customers was telling me that my wife is a perfect expression of Christianity in character and dressing. The man said he wasn't surprised when he learnt her husband is a minister of God. But me I know, it is not about being a minister, there are too many wives of ministers that dress like the daughters of the world. Rather, it is the holy fire of God that burnt and still burn in her.

Once I entered into a boutique to get a pair of trousers. The young man told me about one good one and said that is what everyone wears. But I know I am not everyone. So, I pick it for its quality and sought to size it on me. The moment I put it on me, it was tight. You find many people on the street wearing such, even to church. It is the fashion trend. Perhaps that was what he meant by his description. The moment that trouser came on me as I tried to see it, fire burnt it! Before I even finished saying it, the young man said it. He took back his property. We carry fire, and it burns such clothes. Amen!

"For He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, as in former years" (Malachi 3:2-4).

Genuine access to God is birth by a burnt life laying upon the altar of sacrifice. 

When Esther had passed through 12 months of intense fire-full purification, she went unto the king with "nothing but what the keeper of women appointed", and she obtained favour (Esther 2:9-15).

Dear woman, there is a keeper of women (God's fire) that should determine what you wear and use. The world and daughters of the world should never be your model and pattern for dressing. 

May God's holy fire burn your bones, your flesh and your clothes. May it be a 100% burn, that we may be dead to the world and alive in God in Jesus' name.
